A land use sign also known as a Master Use Permit (MUP) sign is a land use application sign. MUP and land use application are terms used to describe a review process that typically includes discretionary review. The review process is done by the Seattle Department of Construction and Inspections (SDCI). The team at SDCI follows the Seattle Municipal Code (SMC) to ensure that the public is aware of upcoming construction projects. Studio 3 Signs not only offers “notice of proposed land use action” signs in Seattle, we offer them in many Cities throughout the Greater Puget Sound region.

The land use signs are offered on either ½” thick MDO (Marine Grade Plywood), ½” thick corrugated plastic / Corex or Dibond. Typically these MUP signs are installed onto 4×4 wood posts, however, we also install them onto fences, sides of buildings and construct free standing sign frames when necessary. The installers at Studio 3 Signs are ready to install your land use sign quickly to ensure a fast turnaround time on your review period with the City.

Are you a developer looking for a site sign? Studio 3 Signs offers commercial property signs that will grab the attention of your potential buyers. Generally site signs are used to advertise “For Lease” space, exhibit company information at construction sites or announce a new development. Our goal is to work closely with property owners and property management companies to ensure that your sign is designed to draw attention and is installed in a maximum traffic area. We can even laminate your signs with graffiti proofing that will allow you to wipe spray paint and permanent markers off of the graphics.
